What Are Quicken Buildings Made From?
Most of our buildings feature all-steel construction, although some product lines do offer a wood floor option. When wood components are included, Quicken Mfg. uses only high-quality, structural select grade lumber. The standard gauge of wall and roof sheeting panels is 29 gauge. 26 and 24 gauge products are available as well.
Are All Quicken Buildings Painted?
Yes, the walls and trim on all Quicken buildings are painted in your choice of more than 20 different color options. (see colors here) All of our painted panels feature a 40-year warranty. Our standard roof sheets are made from Galvalume material for exceptional corrosion protection in the harshest environments. Galvalume has a shiny aluminum finish which appears white on most roof slopes. Painted metal of a different color is available if desired. Quicken’s Galvalume sheeting also features 30-year warranty protection.
Are Quicken Buildings Insulated?
Quicken Manufacturing offers reflective foil insulation as well as fiberglass insulation in a variety of thicknesses and R-Value ratings, as well as thermal-efficiency systems for both interior walls and ceilings. Your Quicken building consultant can make recommendations on insulation based on climate and building use.
Are Sheeting Closures Standard On All Quicken Buildings?
Absolutely! Fitted foam closures are standard at the ridge and base of all Quicken buildings, which prevents dust, snow, insects, rodents or birds from gaining access.
How Long Does It Take To Get A Building?
Because every Quicken building is custom designed based on the customer’s needs and preferences, delivery time is generally 2-3 weeks from the time the order is received. However, this schedule can vary based on seasonality and can be as short as 1 week or as long as 12 weeks for more complex projects. Your Quicken Building Consultant can give you a more exact estimate after reviewing your specific project
What About My Local Building Codes?
Every Quicken building is engineered to meet all local building code requirements, and Quicken will provide drawings stamped and certified by a registered engineer if required. If your local area has no specific code guidelines, Quicken will design your building based on historical data for that county.
Do You Install?
We do not. Ask one of our Quicken Building Consultants, we may be able to assist in locating qualified local contractors to perform these tasks. We do have contractors available that are Quicken Certified to install our products.
What Type Of Foundation Is Required?
Quicken reccomends three foundation types including full concrete slabs, simple perimeter or pier foundations which are the simplest and least expensive option. Which foundation is right for you will depend a great deal on the type of building you select and your local building codes. Quicken’s Building Consultants will work closely with you to make sure you get the best option for your needs at the lowest possible cost.
